Excerpt from Pastor Michael Giroux' "The 30/60/100 Fold Matthew 13:23 ~ Prayer Of The Elect"

“Pray, Intercede & Give Thanks For Our Nation”

• LORD COME. ‘And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.” Acts 4:31; Acts 2:2; Dan 2:44; Mal 4:6; Rev 11:15.

Lord, I pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and a great awakening in America; that our leads, families, churches, and nation would welcome YOUR presence and obey His principles!

• LORD PROTECT. “Unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. Ps. 127:1b.

Lord, I pray you would protect and guard our nation, our states and our cities. Reveal the plots of the enemy, give insight to complex issues and strength to the watchmen you’ve set about us in national intelligence, CIA, FBI, NSA, Homeland Security, ports, borders, military, police, fire and emergency leaders.

• LORD REVEAL. “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord.” Isaiah 54:17

Lord, I pray you would reveal to our leaders the weapons, schemes and plans that have been devised against out nation economically, governmentally, militarily. I pray You would bring to light and reveal the hidden things of darkness according to Your Word. I Corinthians 4:5; Jas 1:20.

• LORD PURIFY. “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34).

Lord, I pray you would bring a purging and a purifying work to the lives of our leaders. Send the Holy Spirit to convict of sin, righteousness and judgment releasing the gift of repentance and a renewed consecration to being ministers of justice and servants of righteousness for my God is with the generation of the righteous. John 16:8; Ps 14:5.

• LORD COMMISSION. “For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.” Romans 13:1b; Mat 9:38.

Lord, I pray you would appoint, anoint, commission and send laborers into the harvest of government as representatives to be ambassadors of righteousness and move in a heavenly appointed authority in governmental circles.
